Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the Fourfold mobile game (the “App”) provided by Get Technologies Ltd (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Fourfold is a word puzzle game with a daily puzzle and a series of levels. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these Terms and the rules of the App Store or Google Play (“Store”) you downloaded it from.

You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or distribute the App or its puzzles, cheat or exploit bugs, or use the App in any unlawful way.

2. Store terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of the Store you got it from. If you downloaded Fourfold from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; Apple is not responsible for the App or for providing support for it. If anything in these Terms conflicts with mandatory Store rules, the Store rules apply.

3. In-app purchases

The App is free to download and offers optional in-app purchases, including packs of virtual coins and a one-time Remove Ads purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google using the payment method in your Store account, and prices are shown in the App before you buy. Except where required by law or Store policy, purchases are final and non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

Remove Ads and Fourfold Plus can be restored on a new device signed in to the same Store account using Restore purchases in the App’s shop.

4. Fourfold Plus subscriptions

• Fourfold Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that removes ads, gives unlimited hints and unlocks every past daily puzzle. It is available as a weekly, monthly or yearly plan, at the price shown in the App.
• There is no free trial or introductory offer. Payment is charged to your Store account when you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price and for the same length, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. After cancelling, you keep Plus benefits until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If a price changes, we or the Store will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Virtual coins and items

Coins, hints, skips, streak freezes and other virtual items in the App are a limited licence to use a feature of the game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real money, goods or services, cannot be transferred or sold, and are not refundable except where required by law. Because your progress is stored on your device, coins and items may be lost if you delete the App or change devices, and we cannot restore consumable items. We may change how virtual items work, as long as we do not remove items you have already paid for without good reason.

6. Ads

Unless you purchase Remove Ads or Fourfold Plus, the App shows ads. Some features let you watch an optional rewarded video in exchange for an in-game reward. We are not responsible for third-party ads or the products they promote.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App and how you can control it.

8. Intellectual property

The App, including its puzzles, artwork, the Fourfold name and logo and Pip the chameleon, is owned by Get Technologies Ltd or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Apart from the licence in section 1, no rights are granted to you.

9. Changes and availability

We may update, change or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, and may update these Terms. If we make material changes we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept them.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of progress or virtual items. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

11. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously breach these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria, without affecting any mandatory right you may have to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.
